Ojai Valley Inn – Modern Winter Wedding
Imagine the anticipation of waiting for your perfectly planned wedding for a year only for it to be canceled against your wishes days before. Now imagine waiting another whole year for it to become reality. Whitney and Ryan endured so much with the postponement of their wedding due to the Thomas Fires and today,… we are proud and excited to share with you their wedding. One year to the date of postponement, their December modern winter wedding hosted at the Ojai Valley Inn was finally coming to fruition! The ceremony vows took place under the stunning, (very old and iconic), oak tree affectionately named the Wishing Tree at the Artist Cottage. The modern winter theme was perfectly presented by creating a white washed wood planked aisle and stage for the acrylic chuppah. Camille of Camellia Floral Design expertly adorned the structure with fresh greenery and white florals. We chose the Ghost Chair to compliment the look with a ceremony in the round. The front row chairs were Guests were invited to the Hacienda Foyer and Patio for cocktail hour where they were met with a chic champagne escort display. Hints of the bold color palette to come started to develop through the linens and stunning florals. The ballroom doors opened to the musical talents of the Party Crashers. Whitney and Ryan are finally introduced to their friends and family a very grand entrance as Mr. & Mrs.!! The tables were set with the soft hue of Oatmeal Velvet from La Tavola Linen, gorgeous golds accented the big pops of red blooms, and I couldn’t resist pulling in the Ghost Chairs again for an elegant, but modern feel to the room. A very large white round dance floor was the perfect focal point for guests and their dancin’ shoes! Michelle Beller captures the days moments and emotions so perfectly. Hoo Films provided our cinematic feature.
