Santa Ynez Wedding – Summer in the Vineyard
Summer in the vineyard, is there anything better?! Yes, summer weddings in the vineyard! And even better, summer weddings in Santa Ynez are unbelievably romantic. Sunstone Villa is one of those iconic venues that you will never forget. Walking the property evokes a calm feeling of luxury and relaxation at it’s finest. Now, imagine hosting the most special day of your lives in this feeling. Presto! That’s when the magic happens. Emily and John’s wedding, I was so honored to be a part of. I aimed to strike an organic feeling in the ceremony using neutral tones, earthly elements in texture, as if we pulled the items from the Villa itself. The beautiful iron gate set against our ceremony backdrop is from Barn Relic and worked perfectly for the vows. I loved the gate specifically to blend with the seating. Our ceremony seating was eclectic yet formal with wood pews and vineyard iron chairs alternating down the aisle. Emblem Flowers gave us gorgeous blooms to adorn the ceremony gates. The overgrown feeling was as if they had lived there all along. Their centerpieces sung soft beauty throughout dinner. I wanted blooms that were strong enough to stand up against the bold slate blue of the linen but not clash in warmth. Chamain nailed the textural feeling we wanted. It was also important for me to strike a formal feeling throughout the lounge by the open fireplace, and the newly upholstered furniture from Town & Country Event Rentals hit all the notes. The color palette was perfection. I focused on lush tables hosting candle light and beautiful bountiful foods by Field to Table Catering & Events. I adore Tracy and his staff, they always do an amazing job. Michelle Beller Photography , her skilled eye captured all the details and most importantly had the confidence of the bride and groom, they were smiling all day and into the night.
