Victorian Royalty ~ Ojai Valley Inn & Spa
We are so excited to share this beautiful and special Ojai Valley Inn & Spa wedding. This visually stunning event expresses style and grace throughout every layer of detail. From the bride’s gown to the delicate and personal family collection of English china, this wedding is dripping in yummy eye candy! Natalie & Brett’s wedding is full of imagery sharing Victorian Royalty and detailed precision throughout. The stunning display of the personal collection of antique china plates we mixed and match down the tables, the hand-made Victorian crowns, and the breathtaking florals by Camilla Svennson Burns Floral Styling, all gave our tables so much depth and texture. The use of fabric was a predominant theme throughout the entire event. The search for soft and valuable vintage ribbon was a labor of love. The ribbon and lace adorned our details from the welcome bottles of wine, to the swagging of draping in the tent, to the crowns in the centerpieces.
The bride was glowing in a Lazaro gown and Badgley Mischka shoes, Bridesmaids wore Coast dresses and the Bouquet girls wore Amsale, Lela Rose. The men strutted in DKNY suites with Burberry ties. The mother of the bride custom made the Ring Bearer and Flower Girl outfits to match their adorable personalities... all her grandkids! One of my favorite pieces to this entire event was the Bride & Groom's table. We had the napkins stitched by the talented Brent Jongeward of BAM Specialty Draping with the names of all their wedding party as a keepsake memento. The Bride and Groom dined from their own wedding china, a wedding gift from the Bride's mother. We seated the couple in an antique loveseat passed down from generation to generation from the Bride's family. The colors worked perfectly and the look was beautiful and personal. Each guest was given a miniature crown which was expertly timed and secretly set upon their pillows in their rooms at the end of the night as a thank you token from the couple. I can't say enough about choosing a stellar group of vendors to design and implement your wedding. With the right professionals, perfection is created.
